The Annual Art exhibition is a presentation of the talent and skills of our region’s artists.

Location of the Exhibition is at the Cairns Art Gallery - 40 Abbott Street Cairns City, QLD

This Exhibition attracts some of our region’s top artists – painters, sculptors, potters, and photographers – who will display their work in this not to be missed event. Whether you are a local or a visitor, you will find something that delights or intrigues you within this exhibition.

Important dates:

Artists: A maximum of three works per artist. Entry fees: $40 Per Entry (and be a current member of CAS)

Please note: PRE-SELECTION OF ARTWORKS: 15 January 2026. ANNOUNCE SELECTED ARTISTS: 21 January 2026

Entries Open: Wednesday 15 October 2025.

ENTRIES CLOSE: COB (5PM AEST) on Monday 12 January 2026. Late entries will not be accepted.

Bump-in: Tuesday 27 January 2026 (1.00pm–5.00pm) and Wednesday 28th January (9.30am – 12.00pm).

Delivery: To ground floor, Lady Norman Room (TBC) and All artworks to have a securely affixed label on delivery.

Open to public: 31st January to 8th March 2026

Official launch: 30th January, 5:30pm – all welcome.

Bump-out: Monday 9 March, 930am to 4 pm.
