Enter through after-hours entrance, to the left of main entry.
Please consider nominating for a position on your CAS committee. All positions will be declared vacant and new members will be warmly welcomed and greatly appreciated.
Cairns Studio Art Trail 2025
Expressions of interest for the CAS Studio Art Trail!
The committee have been discussing setting up a Art Trail for those members with Studios for the public to visit.
We have also been approached by the Cairns Festival producer at Cairns Council to discuss how this could work in collaboration as part of the 150th anniversary celebrations.
We are working with the Creative Team for the festival on marketing materials and an Art Trail Map.
We are looking for members who have a dedicated studio that is suitable for the public to visit on Sunday 31 August and Mon 1 September, 10am to 3pm.
Due to the tight deadline we require any member interested in participating to register their interest by emailing us on:

There will be some housekeeping around participating some of which is as follows:
Artists/creators will have to have their studio open and available to the public

Cairns Artist Talks with Hannah Parker
Introducing Cairns Artist Talks (or CAT’s)
Experience talks, demonstrations and workshops from professional local artists - for anyone looking to improve their skills, develop their art business, or learn more about local artists.
We would like to invite you to our first CAT’s even with mixed-media artist, printmaker and storyteller Hannah Parker.
When: Sunday April 13th, 3pm - 5pm
Where: Artsits@Work, 51 Lake Street
Cost: $20 per person (cash on the door)

CAS Meetings
Cairns Art Society: Local Art Events and Meetings
The Cairns Art Society serves as a vibrant hub for local art events, providing artists and art enthusiasts with opportunities to engage, collaborate, and immerse themselves in the local creative scene.
Management meetings for the Cairns Art Society are scheduled on the first Wednesday of each month.
These meetings take place at Artists at Work, located at 51 Lake Street, Cairns QLD.
Everyone is welcome to attend these meetings and connect with members of the Society.
It’s a great opportunity to get involved, stay updated on upcoming events, and contribute to the local arts community.
